Do I Support Medical Professionals?

Yes, I do! I am looking forward to supporting medical professionals in Memphis and its surrounding areas in Tennessee. 

Where Will the Massage Take Place? 

- primarily at my office studio for in-house massages  or

- at your 'on call location' home, hotel, sports facility etc.

Must I Be Completely Undressed? 

You undress to your level of comfort and when you are ready 

I will knock before entering the room to give you a massage.

Will I Be Covered During the Session? 

Yes! Draping (covering) is a requirement for a 

Licensed Massage THerapist (LMT) in Tennessee. 


What Type of Massage Oil or Lotion Is Used? 

I use several different types of massage oils and body butters. My oils contain mostly coconut, and body butters contain Shea butter.

What Parts of My Body Will Be Massaged? 

You are paying for a Full Body Massage (FBM), so your full body will be massaged.  The exception of course is genitalia.

Are There Different Kinds of Massage and Bodywork? 

There are various types of massages known as modalities.  I will only use the techniques, and methods that I have been trained to use.

What Should I Do During the Massage or Bodywork Session? 

Breathe, breathe, breathe. Relax, relax, relax. “This massage is for you!”  Signal to me if the pressure behind my strokes are on target!

What Will the Massage or Bodywork Feel Like? 

My hope, of course, is that my massage will make you feel exactly the way Tony the Tiger always feels, “GREAT!”

What Are the Benefits of Massage and Bodywork?

Massage and bodywork may help release muscular tension and pain, improve circulation, increase joint flexibility, reduce mental and physical fatigue and stress, promote faster healing of injured muscular tissue, improve posture, and reduce blood pressure. 

Massage and bodywork are also known to promote better sleep, improve concentration, reduce anxiety, and increase your overall sense of self-esteem and well-being.

Are There Any Medical Conditions That Would Make Massage or Bodywork Inadvisable? 

Yes! 

Before you book your first appointment or begin your first session, you will be required to fill out a Confidential Client Information Form. Describe your current and past health conditions and list any medications that you are currently that might impact your ability to receive a massage.  If you are under a doctor's care for a very specific health concern that could be affected by receiving a massage, I require you to receive written authorization from your doctor prior to receiving any massages. Depending on the condition, approval from your doctor may be required because of certain medications that you are required to take, because of your medical condition, or because of recent surgery.  ADVISE ME about any updates or any changes in your health conditions or any new medications before each massage session.
